“While I usually say my favorite gown is the next one I design, this fitted number caught me wildly off guard. She has gumption — and an undeniable sex appeal that’s hard to look away from. I drew inspiration from lingerie and from the ornate, sculptural interiors of designers like Kelly Wearstler, known for pairing bold moulding and baroque flourishes with modern accents. The shapely bias trim was deliberately crafted to contour the silhouette while creating these almost rococo-like patterns in the dimensional lace. I love this dress for her unapologetic sensuality, her stunning curves, and her confidence — a true metamorphosis moment. Her name speaks to that feeling of transformation — a woman emerging into her next, most radiant self.”
